Matt Kass is an award-winning Nashville producer, songwriter, mixer and multi-instrumentalist with more than two decades in music. He studied ethnomusicology at Cornell University and spent a decade touring and releasing records before moving fully into production.
His work includes records with Shawn Hook, Anthony Raneri, Allie Moss, Leah Nobel and more, along with music for HBO Documentaries, IFC Films, Netflix and Fox Sports. A two-time ASCAP Plus Award recipient, he also earned Best Live Album honors at the 2008 Independent Music Awards for producing Tale of Two Cities by The Brakes. His music has appeared across television and national advertising, including campaigns reaching more than 100 million impressions.
